You can tell that the owners of this property take much pride in their hotel. It is immaculate, comfortable, and everything was in perfect working order. The staff seemed like family, very warm and welcoming. The underground parking was a plus, it felt much more secure than having to park in the street. I was really pleasantly surprised with the property, they don't have a website, but there were no "surprises" upon arriving. Very convenient location to see a show at the Coach House !
The shower didn’t have a water restrictor.
They need coffee makers in the rooms. That’s my only comment

The staff is so, so nice! My car was dead when I went to check out. One of the maintenance guys brought his truck over to jump it, and the hotel manager had new jumper cables. Got me right on the road. Above and beyond, I would say! The hotel is not fancy, but the rooms are clean, and the beds are pretty comfortable. The prices are amazing for San Juan Capistrano! I will continue to stay there when I'm working in town!

It was close to where I was working. The shower was excellent. The bed was comfortable. Next to in-n-out.
Comfy bed and pillows. Hot water. Fridge and microwave . Room is clean. Close to everything in town.
Very simple and not many amenities. Was good for an overnight stay. An alright place to crash for a road trip. Hot water, warm room, clean toilet, king size bed... I can't really complain. There are several fast food places nearby including In-N-Out and Popeyes Chicken.
The owner kindly helped me jump my car as I accidentally left the headlights on all night. What could have been a problem was immediately solved and with kindness which I really appreciated. Within 10 minutes of discovering my dead battery I was on my way to the beach .

I think the positive reviews found online about Laguna Inn and Suites are fake reviews or at the very least, gross distortions of the truth. The place has about as much ambience and comfort as the average Motel 6, but it's less comfortable. The most significant problem is the NOISE. The building is sandwiched between a freeway on one side and the Amtrak tracks on the other. Think Amtrak doesn't run at night? Guess again! To add to that symphony of city noise is the sound of people walking on the floors above you, or the loud bumpity-bump as a spinner suitcase rolls along n the hallway. It's not a motel. It's a torture hostel for the weary. I sure wish I had not stayed here.

The maid service was great. They cleaned our room everyday. I received email a day before stating that due to rise in Covid they would not clean rooms daily but they did.
Excellent clean room, bathroom, front room with couch & table, microwave, and refrigerator. I found the bed very comfortable.
